RADICAL SUPPLICATION

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

What is supplication?

Supplication means to make a petition, deep reverential petition or to plead for something.  It means to make an earnest appeal. It is a respectful request to a higher power, for help or for a favor.

Supplication is a form of prayer to God, our God. Supplication can be made on behalf of yourself or on behalf of another. For example, David made supplication in Psalm 43:1-4

Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked.  You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy? Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.Psalm 43:1-4 (NIV)

Jesus made supplication in Luke 22:44 and Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:13.

Supplication is not done lightly rather with fervency. Supplication is done earnestly and reverently Hebrews 5:7. Supplication for another is done selflessly, like Moses refused for God to wipe out Israel Exodus 32:9-14. He even went to an extent of suggesting to God that he rather be wiped out while Israel remains Exodus 32:32

Steps to making supplication

1. Identify the problem

2. Do not worry Isaiah 43 :25  John 15:17

3. Come boldly to God in prayer Hebrews 4:16

4. Make your request know To God. Engage the Holy Spirit for the how

5. Give thanks after you have prayed. Sing songs of thanksgiving in your heart, make melody to Him. That is another way to say you do believe while manifestation is on the way

6. Never give up no matter how long it takes

7. Trust him, believe that he has done it

8. Let the peace of God guide your heart, live in peace, activate the weapon of peace

THE REALITY OF FAITH

THE REALITY OF FAITH

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Many people wonder what faith is. Some are not sure whether they have faith or not. Yet some believe their faith is not strong enough to produce the result they desire. Remember, Jesus said if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you still see result (Matthew 17:20). No matter how small your faith, leave it out there long enough till you can see results. That means not giving up until your change comes, until your prayers are answered.  Be determined to wait, though it lingers, wait for it. At the set and appointed time, God will definitely show up. While waiting, take the opportunity to love and grow.

THE REALITY OF FAITH

Faith is absolute assurance that the Word of God produces results when properly applied. Faith has answer for everything. If you can believe all things are possible (Mark 9:23)

Faith enables man to act and operate like God would, assuming the nature of God where nothing shall be impossible to that man or woman. When He gave us His word, He gave us the right to make things happen in His place, right here on earth. We command, He approve and we see results. We decree a thing by the power given to us in Luke 10:19 and it is established in the heavenly realms, and over a period of time, we see results.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (NIV)

To us, faith goes beyond feeling—it is a tangible, active force. It is a force that connects the natural to the supernatural. It is a bridge you walk through from one side to the other to get what you need.

The woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus in faith, and He recognized the difference by the virtue that flowed from Him. Jesus was able to differentiate the touch of faith from the ordinary touching of the people pressing on Him. Faith is recognizable. Four men in Luke 5:17-20 decided to the do something impressive. The scripture pointed out that when these four men could not find a way to get their friend to Jesus of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. Vs 20 said “ When Jesus saw their faith, He spoke..  This tells us that faith can be seen by its action, not just seated in the heart, but active as well.

The Bible is a faith bank. When faith is active in your life, it reveals the reality of heaven. When the enemy tries to harass you, go to the word and pull out the shield of faith for quenching all the fiery dots of the devil. Remember; faith is always pregnant with good news if we can live it out there long enough.

Abraham‘s faith was rooted in that which was spoken to him. Faith does not stand alone, it must be rooted on something, it must anchor on the spoken ward to produce desired result.

Where faith is, the situations around you does not matter anymore, rather you are blind to them. You stand firm, giving glory to God in all situations. Faith has its anchor on the word of God in Christ. You can change any situation if you can only get deep down into the word of God. Deep calls to deep (Psalm 42:7)

Faith must take place in the heart before it can produce visible result. The woman with the issue of blood believed in her heart and made up her mind that she will be healed even before touching Jesus. Once she touched the Lord, she got her result that was already established in her heart. We can all touch the Lord in His word.

Faith is the driving force behind every person’s destiny, because what you become is a direct result of what you believe. It is necessary to have a good understanding of how faith works  so we can have a good outcome. It is through faith that we bring the purposes of God for our lives into reality. Be blessed.

Power in Naming: The Divine Authority to Rename Your Reality

“Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.”Genesis 2:19 (NIV)

Adam was allowed to name the animals, and whatever name he gave them, God endorsed it. This simple yet profound act established humanity's authority to define and rename.

We are created with this same power—the ability to give and change names. In Scripture, God changed Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah, and Jacob to Israel. In the New Testament, Jesus renamed Simon as Peter, and Saul as Paul.

What in your life is due for a name change?

Call it. Change it. And trust that God will endorse it.
Is it a situation that feels hopeless? Rename it Hopeful.
Is it a challenge? Rename it Opportunity.

Change the way you see it—first in your imagination. Welcome the new name. Begin to speak it boldly and consistently. As you do, what you’ve spoken will begin to show up in your reality.

You have the power. Use it.
